My spring break consisted of being off of school yet still having to go to work. So I jammed in my hours and worked 3 days.
Friday:
My little came and visited to me and I was the happiest grasshopper on the planet. It was such a great weekend with her here. I am sure that the upstairs would be a little bit happier with a second permanent guest (Allison..are you seeing the hint here?) We went to dinner at Mi Cocina, had some Mambo's with the family, told some jokes at the dinner table and just enjoyed each other's company. She is my other half. We then went out for our first adventure in Dallas together. Showed her the fun spots. Hung with some friends. Learned some sign language and laughed in a way that no one else will even understand.
Saturday:
Got up early, decked out and green and hit up the St. Patrick's Day Parade on Greenville with Haley, Ryan and Hunter (and Allison!) It was so much fun. And the people watching....was incredible. We found sister and Ryan as soon as possible and were hanging out at their tailgate across from Central Market. It was so much fun. And then the happiest thing happened, at the exact same time Allison and I turned over our shoulder and two cars away standing in line for the portiepotty was JAYME HARRISON! Favorite Chi Omega EVER! Happiest moment, ever? Yes. We hung out with her precious friends and just had an exhausting afternoon. Filled with a Chick-Fil-A run of course.
Fast-forward to work....
Play.
Then on Thursday I headed to Possum Kingdom to meet up with Allison, Natalie, Brianne, Allie and Hilary. It was so much fun. The weather was beautiful and we laid out by the lake on the cliff and talked, caught up and just spent all of the time outside all weekend until the snow in Dallas on Sunday.
Spring break re-cap. Boring as ever post, but a great spring break filled with wonderful people.
