thankful

one of my most favorite people Lori mentioned to me one time in highschool that she kept a journal that was simply for writing down things that she is thankful for. i have been trying to keep up with that, and really it is so easy. example, today: i am thankful for a shelter. right?

becuase we are. i like to find time to be able to reflect and "journal" or at least write whatever i am thinking about in my noggin down on paper, wherever that might be. (they seem to all be in different places..) but i do try to keep my thankful journal somewhere else. today i encourage you to do the same..

this is semi- humorous. tonight when we got home from our friday night mexican dinner (yum!) we came home and watched the 'hope for haiti now' special on all 80 of the television channels it was one. we decided to call the # becuase it seemed to be the easiest way to give back, which is what we wanted to do. anyways, earlier on ellen i had heard that she was going to be answering some callas along with other celebs (rpattinson, TAYLORSWIFT!) so i called and being the lame-o that i am called at least 37 times before we finally got a ring...and then i got all excited, almost tears in my eyes when mom said we got a dial tone thinking that on the other end i would get to talk to taylorswift! or ellen! would of cried...don't worry, didn't talk to either. no one famous actually. but we contributed-is the moral of the story.

that's about it, sorry for the 'no direction' of today.
