I love my sister.
She may think that I am the weirdest person on the planet, but I know that when she says that, I just hear it as "I love you my weirdo." It's music to my ears.
We have always been good at being able to fight and bicker, but we are really good at laughing together, loving each other, and appreciating each other.
She came over last night for her "feeding" (translation: I like to give her grief that whenever she comes over, is simply only for food. It's not. But it's more fun.) and while sitting in the kitchen with the family discussing our upcoming weeks and her move, the power went out. Great. It came on right before dinner and then went off right after dinner (Thank you God for that one.) She convinced me to go to her apartment and help her pack boxes (joy.)
Time that we spend together like that, is irreplaceable. I am always thankful for it. It doesn't matter if I am asking where that "interesting" item is from, marking all over the boxes, popping bubble wrap until I know that she is annoyed or just spending quality time together.
I miss walking through our bathroom when I knew that she was trying to go to bed, sneaking in her door and dancing around until she was seriously mad at me, leaving, and then standing at the bathroom door until she told me to "please go away, goodnight." I have the best sister on the planet. Once again, this post is not at all what I wanted it to be, but what is new. I hope that you do not listen to "Good Morning Baltimore" without laughing... I sure don't.
Always thankful.
